Emirates Golf Club
The Wadi Course
Emirates Golf Club's second championship golf course was opened in 1996 and was named ‘The Wadi', from the Arabic for ‘valley', after the landscaped wadi between the 7th and 8th holes. Given the unenviable task of competing with The Majilis, The Wadi performs admirably and the average golfer is tempted by the space and large greens, cleverly protected by fourteen lakes and numerous bunkers. As with the Majilis it is another par 72 with a challenging layout, proving very popular locally and easily lures players to the excitement of its 7,107 yards.
