The
Golf
Poggio Dei Medici
Par 73 7,0037 yards
Located only 25 kms.
from Florence in the heart of the hilly Tuscan landscape, this course
is the regular host of the Italian Ladies Open. The course offers a
challenge to golfers of all abilities with slick elevated greens and
water hazards coming into play on several holes.
Golf DellÕUgolino
Par 72 6,243 yards
Integrated perfectly
into the rolling hills of the area, Ugolino is one of the oldest courses
in Italy. Not overly long but the tight par-5Õs, changes of elevation
and tight well defended greens require thoughtful play and make for
an interesting challenge.
Le Pavoniere
Par 72. 6,750 yards
Built in 1996, this Arnold Palmer designed course is gently undulating
and is a pleasant course to walk. As you would expect, it has a very
American feel with beautifully manicured fairways, well defended greens,
strategic use of bunkers and water coming into play on several holes.
