Poniente - Par 72 - 6430m
One of the oldest course on Mallorca, Poniente was opened in in 1978 and is a challenging and well designed course which will be enjoyed by players of all abilities. Fairways are wide, but the design of the course and the trees lining most of the fairways means that accuracy remains paramount.
Santa Ponsa 1- Par 72 - 6543m
Probably the best known of all Mallorca's courses, Santa Ponsa played host to the Ballearic Open on several occasions. The course is long and very demanding with wide but sloping fairways set in beautiful open countryside dotted with olive and almond trees. At 590 metres, the par five 10th hole is the longest in Spain.
Son Antem East - Par 72 - 6235m
The original 18 holes of Son Antem is laid out in a former hunting estate, so there is wildlife in abundance. The course winds through woodland and lakes come into play on several of the holes. The fairways are wide, but there is an abundance of rough to punish any wayward shots.
Son Antem West - Par 72 - 6293m
Opened in 2001 and already aclaimed as one of the finest courses on the island, this course is laid out in wide open countryside and provides a true challenge. The fairways are immaculate but tight, and the elevated greens are well protected. There are 3 lakes on the course, which come into play on 5 of the holes.
Son Muntaner - Par 72 - 6347m
Set in rolling hills on the outskirts of Palma and surrounded by pine forests, this new golf course is for the exclusive use of the guests of the Castillo Son Vida and Arabella Sheraton Hotels. This course, characterised by its large greens and varied holes, provides a testing but enjoyable challenge to both low and high handicap players.
Son Termens - Par 70 - 5582m
Opened in May 1998, Son Termens is a stunningly beautiful course. Built on a former hunting estate in the hills, the magnificent surrounding countryside and panoramic views make this an unforgettable golfing experience. The greens are magnificent, but well protected by bunkers and ravines and the course will test your golfing skills to the utmost.
Son Vida - Par 72 - 5572m
Completely renovated in 2001, this is probably the most prestigious course in Mallorca as well as the oldest. The outward nine holes are hilly, with wonderful views over the bay of Palma, while the inward nine are flat with countless almond, carob, pine and palm trees lining the fairways.
Andratx - Par 72 - 6089m
Opened in 2000, the Andratx course at Camp de Mar is Majorca's newest course. Stunningly scenic, it has been designed to blend with the natural terrain and is a magnificent layout. The course is a long and the fairways are fairly tight, but it is exceptionally well maintained and run, with over 60 bunkers and 7 lakes adding to the severity of this beautiful course.
Bendinat - Par 70 - 5660m
Another very scenic course, Bendinat is an undulating course combining pine lined valleys with elevated greens and tees . The views over the Bay of Palma are spectacular and the wildlife and natural flaura are so abundant that the course has been declared a nature reserve. An enjoyable and challenging course which will require the use of every club in your bag.
Vall D'Or - Par 71 - 5824m
Set in lovely countryside, the front nine of Vall D'Or winds through pine, almond and olive trees and has spectacular views of the Mediterranean. The inward nine is hillier and the greens are small and well protected.
Capdepera - Par 72 - 6273m
Capdepera has a spectacular setting, surounded by mountains in a valley in the north east of the island. The first 12 holes are relatively flat and the final 6 holes rise into the mountains. Most of the fairways are long and wide and the course provides a true test for both low and high handicap players
Canyamel - Par 73 - 6197m
Set in a valley in the North East of the island and beautifully designed to follow the natural contours of the terrain, the outward nine holes offer spectacular views of the Mediterranean while th inward nine have a mountain backdrop. With its wide fairways and greens always immacualately maintained, Canyamel offers the prospect of an enjoyable and challenging round of golf.
Pula - Par 71 - 6003m
Built on the site of an ancient estate, Pula is a fairly flat course and has some wonderful views of both the mountains and sea. Although a relatively new course, it has already hosted several major tournaments and is reckoned by Jose Maria Olazabal to be among the top 20 courses in Spain.
