La Serena Golf & Beach Resort is set in a wonderful plot, just a short stroll from the sandy beaches and therapeutic waters of the Mar Menor. In addition, the resort enjoys superb high-speed access to the regional airport of San Javier (10 minutes), the historic cities of Murcia (35 minutes) and Cartagena (20 minutes), and the sensational La Manga Resort (20 minutes).

The 18 hole golf course designed by Manuel Pinero encircles the 500 year old Torre del Rame, which was originally built to keep a watch out for the notorious pirates who took refuge in the tranquil waters of the Mar Menor.

Directions to the Course
Take the AP7 (Alicante to Cartagena) and exit at Junction 790, signposted Los Alcázares (centro). At the first roundabout take the third exit to Los Alcázares, you will then go under the AP7 motorway and then a roundabout.

Take the first exit which is signposted to La Serena Golf. This is a temporary road that runs alongside the AP7. Keep following the signs until you see the turning into the golf course (on the left).
