In November 2001, HPL Hotels & Resorts unveiled its second Asian Hard Rock Hotel in the Thai coastal resort of Pattaya, a comfortable 100-minute drive from Bangkok. The resort faces the town's main beach at the eastern shores of the Gulf of Thailand.
