Carnoustie - Buddon Links Golf Course

Opened some 20 years ago on land purchased from the Ministry of Defence (each hole is named after a famous battle). Designed by Peter Allis and Davis Thomas, it is far shorter than either the Championship or the Burnside with seven Par 3's and only one Par 5.

As would be expected given its location it is an excellent example of Links golf with holes 7, 9, 11 & 12 testing every golfer’s ability to use accuracy and control. The Buddon Links is a fine compliment to the Championship course.
