Mount Juliet  Thomastown
One of the last great historic estates in Europe opened its doors in 1989 to welcome guests from all over the world. Its original decor has been painstakingly preserved with each of the ensuite bedrooms reflecting its own individual character and ambience. The elegant Georgian country house is surrounded by 1,500 acres of lush pastures, rolling woodlands and the famous Jack Nicklaus Championship golf course.
Explore the estate on bicycles, by foot or by taking a guided pony trek. An integral part of estate life is Ballylinch Stud Farm, where you can take a tour to help you understand and perhaps share the age old Irish love of horses. Mount Juliet equestrian centre offers basic horse riding tuition, trail riding, cross country and show jumping to riders and will tailor instruction programmes to the rider’s specific needs.
Championship golf course aside there is a unique 18-hole, Par 53 putting course, always good for an evenings entertainment or for the more serious golfer a chance to fine tune your technique.
Accommodation
32 guestrooms comprising of 2 presidential suites, 24 double/twin bedrooms and 6 single bedrooms. Many of the rooms offer captivating views over the river and the paddocks of Ballylinch Stud Farm.
All guest accommodation at Mount Juliet is ensuite and equipped with satellite television, radio, video channel, direct-dial telephone and safety deposit box.
Club Rooms (Hunters Yard) - 16 double/twin guestrooms located just 200 yards from the main house. The rooms and adjacent facilities provide a contrast to the main house with a more rustic and relaxed decor featuring wooden ceilings with massive old beams, rough stone walls and large fireplaces.
Rose Garden Rooms - 11 two bedroom suites
situated next to the Hunters yard, just 150 yards from the main house. Upper level lodges have balconies whereas the ground floor lodges offer small patios. Each lodge is equipped with 2 double/twin ensuite bedrooms, sitting room, fireplace, dining room and kitchen.
