With over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, the Costa Almeria is the sunniest province in Spain and an

The region consists of two main golf areas, with four courses; La Envía Golf, Playa Serena Golf,
Alboran Golf and Golf Almerimar in the
south of the region, and in the north of the region, three courses; Desert Springs, Marina Golf and Valle del Este
within easy reach of the towns of Vera and Mojacar.With many more course under construction, this areahas become a serious golf holiday destination.

Golf courses are less crowded and less expensive than those of the longer established golf holiday destinations such as the Costa del Sol or the Algarve.
