Golf holidays in Cyprus
The beautiful island of Cyprus has always been a popular year round holiday destination, thanks to its 340 days of sunshine, history and culture, beautiful scenery, great beaches and the wonderful hospitality of its people. Visitors from Britain feel at home here, as most of the population speak English and driving is on the left hand side of the road.
Cyprus offers a wealth of attractions to the visitor, such as the wonderful scenery, ancient sites, water sports, mouth watering cuisine and of course, great golf.
With the opening of the splendid new Aphrodite Hills course bringing the number of courses on the island to three, Cyprus is now a serious golfing destination.All three courses are situated in the south west of the island, close to the popular resort of Paphos and it is here that all our hotels are located.
Paphos is a fascinating resort with a pretty harbour, a wealth of nearby historic sites and good selection of reasonably priced bars and tavernas.
The Golf
Secret Valley - Par 72 - 6,737 yards
Situated in a spectacularly scenic valley just 20 minutes from Paphos, and 20 minutes from the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Secret Valley course was opened in 1996 and was designed to be a championship course. The fairways are surrounded by mature trees and dramatic rock formations The rustic clubhouse has a welcoming atmosphere.
Aphrodite Hills - Par 71 - 6,855 yards
Opened in October 2002 the Aphrodite Hills is a superb course, built to championship standard. Designed by Cabell Robinson, the course is built on two plateaux, separated by a dramatic ravine and enjoys spectacular views of the sea. The mix is perfect, with pot bunkers, generous fairways and large tiered greens
Tsada Golf Club - Par 72 - 6,830 yards
Designed by Donald Steel, Tsada nestles among vineyards next to a 12th century monastery. It is situated 20 km from Paphos overlooking the Mediterranean and cooled by gentle sea breezes in the summer. Tsada offers a challenging and enjoyable round in beautiful surroundings and an excelllent clubhouse with first class facilities
