Costa Brava Golf
PGA Golfe de Catalunya - Par 72 - 6588m
This magnificent new course opened in July 2000 and has already hosted
the Spanish open and established itself as one of the top courses in
Europe. Set against a backdrop of the Montseny mountains to the West
and the Pyrenees to the North, the lush fairways wind through mature
pine and cork trees .
Girona Golf Club - Par 72 6110m
Situated among small hills and valleys in the middle of pine woods and olive groves, this F.W. Hawtree designed course is perfectly adapted to its natural environment. The fast greens and the undulating fairways are sown entirely with Penncross grass and the scenery is beautiful. Well worth playing.
Club Golf D"Aro
(Mas Nou) - Par 72 - 6218m
A superb course located in the Les Gavarres hills, some 300 metres above
sea level and with marvellous views over Platja dÕAro and the surrounding
countryside, the Mas Nou golf Course opened in June 1990. With pine
trees, cork oaks and over thousand olive trees lining the fairways,
this course is a real test of golf demanding the utmost accuracy.
Costa Brava Golf Club

Situated close to the resort of Platja D'Aro, in pleasant woodland scenery
this Hamilton Stutt designed course has a distinctly British feel to
it. The outward nine holes are hilly, while the inward nine are flatter.
The fairways are wide and the beautiful clubhouse is a former Catalonian
farmhouse built in 1841.
Emporda - Par 72 - 5855m
Designed by the American architect Robert von Hagge, Emporda is regarded
as one of the top ten courses in Spain. The course has 27 holes, the
first nine holes being laid out in links style and the other two nines
winding through pine woods. The fairways and greens are very well kept
and every hole requires accuracy.
Serres de Pals - Par
72 - 6263m
The newest of the Costa Brava courses, Serres de Pals was opened in
July 2000 and is set in mainly flat countryside interspersed with pine
forests and lakes, and affording great views of the surrounding countryside
and Pals village.
Pals - Par 72 - 6222m
Probably the best known of the Costa Brava courses, Pals is set in flat
terrain adjacent to Pals Beach. The fairways are narrow and lined by
pines, very reminiscent og the Vilamoura Old course, while the large
greens are well protected by strategically placed bunkers.
Torremirona Golf Club
- Par 72 - 6184m
Torremirona is set in beautiful countryside close to the town of Figueres,
The challenging greens and rolling fairways of this first class course
are immaculately maintained and, if you are not staying in the on site
hotel, it is still well worth the journey to come and play here.
Peralada - Par 72 - 6128m
This is another course with its own first class hotel on site. Situated
close to the medieval town of Peralada and with the Pyrenees in the
background, this is enjoyable and challenging course winds through cork
and olive trees and has more than its fair share of water hazards.
