El Saler - Par 72 6335m
This superb course is currently rated number 5 in Europe and second only to Valderrama in Spain. Hugging the sand dunes beside the ocean, the links holes (5 to 9 and 16 to 18) compare favourably to the best of the links courses in the UK. The other holes wind through forest, but are equally attractive. The majority of the greens are huge and tricky to read, and the rough is punishing so great accuracy is required. Without doubt, a highly challenging but hugely enjoyable golf course.
