San Lorenzo - 6,728 yds - Par 72
Rated no 2 in Europe, this superb course is the showpiece of the region. It is the variety of the holes that make San Lorenzo particularly attractive, and the spectacular18th is one of the legendary holes in the Algarve. Exclusively for Dona Filipa and Penina guests.
Pinheiros Altos - 6,615 yds - Par 72
Adjoining the Rio Formosa Nature Reserve, so birdlife and exotic plants abound. There are distinctly different halves at Pinheiros Altos: the first nine holes are in an undulating, pine covered landscape; the second nine are in a contrasting lakeside setting. Accuracy is paramount on this championship golf course.
Quinta do Lago - 6,488 yds- Par 72
Ria Formosa.- 6,205 yds - Par 72
The fact that it has hosted the Portuguese Open no fewer than 7 times is an indication of the quality of the Quinta do Lago course. The other 18-hole layout on the site is called the Ria Formosa course. Both courses provide a solid test for players of all levels of ability.
Vale do Lobo

Vilasol Golf Club - 6762 yds - Par 72
One of the best kept courses in the Algarve, with pristine greens which run true, and tight, testing holes requiring accurate shot making. Now operates as three 9-hole loops.
Vilamoura Old Course - 6924 yds - Par 73
A Frank Pennink design, its easy to see why the Old Course is one of the most popular on the Algarve. Founded in 1969 and extensively renovated in 1996 its tight tree lined fairways make it a great test of golf, and great accuracy is required from the tees.
Pinhal (Vilamoura 2) - 6,842 yds - Par 72
Opened in 1976, this is another Frank Pennink design. Meandering through rolling countryside with umbrella pine lined fairways, it is more open than the Viamoura Old Course. Smaller greens, however, maintain a requirement to play approach shots accurately.
Laguna (Vilamoura 3) - 6,207 yds - Par 72
Laguna is more reminiscent of a parkland course. However, water hazards play a major part in the layouts and strategic bunkers penalise the wayward, demanding precise placing of both tee and fairway shots and accurate approaches to the greens.
Vilamoura - Millennium 6820 yds Par 72
Opened in the summer of 2000, the new Millennium course offers a class championship layout. The first 9 holes wind through forests of umbrella pines, while the back 9 are played in more oopen surroundings.
Benamor - 6017 yds - Par 72
Opened in May 2000, Benamor is already established as a firm favourite . Located east of Faro and close to Tavira, the undulating tight fairways make it a challenging but enjoyable round.
Castro Marim - 6010 yds - Par 72
Located east of Faro, Castro Marim opened in March 2000. The layout is exciting and requires accurate play, while the views of mountains, river and sea are quite breathtaking. Already established as afavourite for golfers staying in Tavira and the Costa de La Luz.
Quinta da Ria - 6,700 yds - Par 72
Another new course east of Faro. Opened in 2001, Quinta da Ria is already acknowledged as one of the finest courses on the Algarve. A great layout and stunning views of the Ria Formosa reserve, make this a must play course.
Quinta da Cima - 6,950 yds - Par 72
Opened in summer of 2002, this is the sister course to Quinta da Ria and is of equally good quality. A great test of golf and if anything, slightly the more difficult of the two.
Salgados - 6.660 yds - Par 72
Salgados has the look and feel of a Scottish links course but with a Florida atmosphere - lakes abound. The course is compact and affords the golfer a true test of skill and accuracy.
Gramacho - 6.473 yds - Par 72
Now a full 18-hole golf course, after an additional 9 holes were added in June 2002. We have had good reviews from all our clients who have played it since.
Pinta - 6,411 yds - Par 72
A very attractive course which since its opening in 1992 has gained an excellent reputation. Designed by Californian golf architect Ronald Fream, it offers superb views of the picturesque countryside.
Alto Golf - 6,698 yds - Par72
Opened in 1991, this was the last 18-hole course to be designed by Sir Henry Cotton. Built on ideal, undulating terrain, Alto has fine views of both the sea and the surrounding hills. The par-5 16th hole - the ÔGiantÕ - is reputed to be the longest hole in Europe.
Penina - 6,973 yds - Par 73
The Championship course is the late Sir Henry CottonÕs masterpiece and the course by which he wished to be remembered. A flat, parkland type course, it underwent a complete renovation lasting 12 months in 1995 and is once more rated as one of the finest courses in Europe.

An interesting course, designed by Frank Pennink. Palmares is noted for its breathtaking scenery and splendid views across the bay of Lagos.The course has a pleasing mixture of woodland and links holes, with the upper holes winding through groves of almond and fig trees.
Parque da Floresta - 6439 yds - Par 72
Located amongst rolling, hilly terrain near the western tip of the Algarve, Parque da Floresta offers a challenging test with some memorable holes and spectacular views. A great golfing experience.
Boavista Golf Club - 6670 yds - Par 71
Boavista opened in January 2002 and has been receiving rave reviews ever since. Located just west of Lagos, its rolling fairways weave their way between water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. The views are stunning.
Pine Cliffs - 9 holes - 2,472 yds
Overlooked by the 5-star Sheraton Algarve Hotel, and with a mass of umbrella pines lining the fairways, the 9-hole Pine Cliffs is a delightful, golf course. Its famous signature hole is the spectacular par-3 ninth with its carry of 140 metres over a deep chasm.
